It's all in your head man

I realized that today's outfit is very very similar to the last post's, and that freaked me out a bit. I'm posting it anyway though. It's probably cause I wore my mystery Gap shirt with something black underneath it again.
Look at me just chillin in my room

Shirt - Gap, Tank top - Mossimo, Jeans - Hollister (Buffalo Exchange, yaay!),
Belt - Shana Logic, Shoes - Payless

La la la...
Hooray for eclectic necklace mixes!

So in photography now we're doing product photos, like when you're shopping on some online store and they've got pretty, well-lit pictures of stuff you can buy. Today I took some pictures of the sushi necklace (from Shana Logic) that I was wearing, and also the fake pearls and another girl's rings and cell phone. Click to enlarge, as usual...

This one turned out trippy because it focused on the reflection of the umbrella I was using to bounce the flash off of. This is pretty much straight out of the camera, all I did was add a vignette and mess with the tones a tiny bit. I like it!

My back has been hurting a lot! I'm not really sure why. But in government class yesterday it was really sore and I couldn't get comfortable, and then suddenly it started to cramp up, like a LOT. I really wanted to lie down and I started sweating it hurt so bad, it was gross. It hurts a little bit less today.

In other news, the beads from the last post have been all cleaned up and re-sorted, thanks to my amazingly awesome boyfriend, Peter. Mwaahaha
My carpet is now returned to its former bead-free glory, and all is well. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go drill some tiny holes in lego pieces and make earrings out of them.

:|

Grrrr my room is extremely messy right now. I stupidly spread all my "I'm-going-to-make-some-killer-jewelry" shit out in front of my desk like a month ago, and it never really went away.
I was going to clean it up, maybe.

...Then Claire came over and spilled a ton of TINY beads all over the carpet... yes, I should learn to close my bead organizer things more tightly, okay. Alright. But now I'm scared to try to clean it up because if I mess with it all the beads will sink into the carpet and be lost forever. D:

Well today was a blahhh day. It was just so.. nothing... blaahhhh
I wore my mysterious stripey button-up Gap shirt (it's mysterious because I have no idea where it came from, it simply showed up in my closet one day) and my geeky resistor earrings. It was boring, but today was a boring day. :/

Blondie shirt - from my aunt, Jeans - Nordstrom, Shoes - Converse, Shirt - Gap,
Earrings - Shana Logic, Belt - I honestly have no idea

This is why I need yellow shoes.

I have a lot of brightly coloured, pointy, shiny, high-heeled shoes. I've been collecting them for awhile now and I'm quite fond of them. I almost have a full rainbow of bright shoes, in fact. But.

I HAVE NO YELLOW HEELS AND I CAN'T FIND ANY GOOD ONES ANYWHERE. D:

Waah. At least they're fun to take pictures of.

I think my favorites are the green ones. The Wet Seal ones are a little big for me, so I have to shove tissues into the toe to insure that I don't accidentally step out of them or something. Oh, how I long for some yellow shoes!

I'm back!

Hiiiiii. Happy 2009, everyone.
So, I've decided to start blogging again. :/
I have a new title, a new layout, and a new year!
...I'm fairly certain that by now the few people who actually used to read my blog regularly have abandoned it, but I'm willing to start over! That's what the new year is all about, isn't it?

Speaking of the new year, my new year's resolution is to be more prompt. Because I am always late to things. Always. This resolution has gotten off to a mediocre start, but I suppose I have all of 2009 to improve...

So expect more posts soon! I have missed blogging over these last few months and am excited to return. I'm still not really sure exactly what this blog is "about"... but the best thing about blogging is that you can post whatever the hell you want! Taaa!

Kathleen Connally Photoblog

Kathleen Connally is one of my favorite photographers I've found online. She has an amazing photoblog with pictures taken all within a ten-mile radius of her Durham Township, Pennsylvania home. She makes country life look reallllly attractive.... and I am COMPLETELY a city person. Even if I do live in an Oregonian suburb... anyway, check it out.

TITLE.

My new tights are ripped and I am considerably pissed.

Curse you, delicate legwear!!

My velvety jacket reminded me that awhile ago someone commented on a post and said that velvet would be in for fall. And lo and behold, it was all over the Gucci womens fall runway! Mostly in pants form, but also one gorgeous Egyptian-y gown. Also featured were some amazing textures, patterns, and rich colours. Yay for Gucci!! :D I desperately want one of these jackets. If I had mad skills I could do some DIY thing with the jacket I'm wearing up there, but it would probably end up getting destroyed. D:

Tiger print dress + awesome studded boots = VERY FIERCE.
